'Forget your troubles and just get happy............' were the opening lines sung by A Touch of TLC in the final of the St Oswalds Choir of the Year to a very full Newcastle City Hall. The chorus opened the show in electrifying style and performed a set that 'set the bar' for the rest of the night. The applause at the end of each song was thunderous and the comments from the judges were tremendous................... 'a fantastic opening to the show, 'your music created sparks', 'you sang as a unit with excellent precision'. At the end of the night the chorus didn't win the competition but certainly won the hearts of all who were there. Maybe next year - who knows?
