We were thrilled by Sir Norman Wisdom’s visit to A Touch Of TLC in July 2005 when this photograph was taken of Sir Norman, his old army pal Patrick Dickenson and the chorus, Helen never missing the chance to sit on a fella’s knee.

Sir Norman was introduced to Barbershop Harmony when he visited Tyneside ladies for the first time back in 1990.
He became an Honorary Member in 1998 when we celebrated our 25th anniversary and, over the intervening years, Sir Norman has paid us a number of surprise visits when he is always a most welcome guest entertaining us with his own unique brand of jokes and songs.
